Statement Stone Surfaces Sydney: Amazon Green, Sapphire Blue, Black and Beyond

For the kitchen, bathroom, or interior that refuses to blend in. Our Statement Gallery collection includes Amazon Green, Sapphire Blue, Black and White Roots, and the darkest blacks in sintered...

Some surfaces do not ask permission. They arrive in a space, they set the tone, and they make every other design decision around them answer to them. The surfaces in our Statement Gallery are not for clients who are still deciding whether they want to make an impression. They are for clients who have decided, and who want a surface equal to that intention.

The Statement Gallery Collection

The Case for Colour in Stone

The green stone trend has been moving through Sydney's most design-forward interiors for two years and is now appearing in Eastern Suburbs kitchen renovations, Double Bay bathrooms, and Inner West café fit-outs with increasing frequency. Amazon Green sintered stone is the surface that captures this moment. The deep emerald tone with a polished finish that reveals the surface's depth is the kind of material that appears in high-end interiors publications and stays there.

Sapphire Blue occupies a similar position in the blue spectrum. For clients who have always wanted a blue kitchen but were cautious about commitment, seeing Sapphire Blue at full 1600 by 3200mm size has a way of resolving the hesitation. At that scale, in that depth of colour, the question changes from "is blue too bold" to "is anything else bold enough."

Black Stone: The Enduring Counterpoint

Every era of white marble dominance eventually produces a counter-movement toward black. We are in one now. Pure Black, Black Knight, and Starry Sky Black represent three distinct readings of the same fundamental intention: a surface of complete tonal authority that makes every other material in the room clarify its position.

Black benchtops work best with white cabinetry for maximum contrast, with warm timber for warmth against the dark surface, or with dark-on-dark for a moody, enveloping kitchen aesthetic. All three approaches are compelling when executed well. We will work through which suits your specific brief at the showroom.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is green stone too trend-dependent for a long-term renovation?
Colour in stone is not the same as colour in paint. Amazon Green reads as a material choice, not a fashion choice. Natural green stone has appeared in premium architecture for centuries. The sintered stone version of this aesthetic is a considered material decision, not a trend prediction.

Will a black benchtop show every mark and fingerprint?
A polished black surface will show water marks and fingerprints more readily than a matte or velvet black. Black Knight and Starry Sky Black in velvet finish are significantly more practical for high-use kitchens than a polished black surface. We advise on finish choice at the showroom consultation.

Can statement colours be used in a bathroom as well as a kitchen?
Yes, and some of the strongest applications we have seen are in bathrooms. Amazon Green as a full-height shower wall, Sapphire Blue as a bathroom vanity and feature niche, Starry Sky Black as a floor-to-ceiling wet room surface. Statement stone in a bathroom creates a five-star hotel quality that is difficult to achieve with any other material.
